Construction Work to Affect I-75 Traffic
Workers will be in Kennesaw on Wednesday and Friday setting bridge beams, forcing a detour off the interstate.

Weather permitting, a night time detour will reroute Canton Road traffic accessing the entrance ramps to I-75 Southbound in order to set bridge beams, the Georgia Department of Transportation says.
Work will occur on Wednesday, November 4th and again on Friday, November 6th, from 9:00PM to 5:00AM at the I-75 southbound entrance ramp at the Canton Road Connector, according to GDOT.
Canton Road Connector traffic traveling I-75 Southbound will be directed to take the I-75 Northbound ramp to travel northbound to Barrett Parkway (Exit 269), GDOT says. Traffic will then be directed to make a left on Barrett Parkway followed by another left to then enter I-75 Southbound via the ramp from Barrett Parkway.

Detours are likely to result in delays. Motorists are advised to exercise caution while driving in these areas. On-site message boards indicating dates, times and detour routes will be present in advance of these closures.
Please be advised that construction activities, including material deliveries, may result in traffic delays prior to the start of any lane closure or detour.
