BUFORD, GA — The Gwinnett County police have charged three people from DeKalb County with felony murder in the shooting death of a Buford-area man in his garage. The police announced Monday, Oct. 14, that one individual was arrested last week, another is in Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, and the third individual is on the run.

Sukkee Hong, 49, died in a local hospital on Friday night, Oct. 4, after getting shot as he got out of his car at his home in the 5800 block of Kendrix Ridge Drive.

Hong was the owner of a check-cashing store in Lithonia, and the police said last week they were investigating whether the shooting was related to his business.
