According to the Gwinnett County Police, the hospital reported Marcos Abraham Guerra, 32, of Dacula, died from his injuries and had no brain activity. Police said Guerra’s body was being kept on a ventilator for organ donation. Simon Fuentes, 48, of Jefferson, was attacked the same day and transported to the hospital on Sunday at around 2 p.m. Fuentes sustained head trauma and a broken arm. He is expected to survive his injuries.
