Lawrenceville Teen Dies In Shooting Near KSU Campus: Reports
A Lawrenceville teen, 18, was killed in a Sunday morning shooting near Kennesaw State University, say media reports.
KENNESAW, GA — A teenager from Lawrenceville died Sunday morning in a shooting near the campus of Kennesaw State University, and two others were wounded, according to media reports. A Cobb County police spokesman said that Oluwafemi Oyerinde, 18, was found dead at an off-campus apartment complex with a gunshot wound to the back, the Marietta Daily Journal reported.
The other shooting victims were Khalil Bennett, 18, of Grayson, and Jarius Bonner, also 18, the Daily Journal reported.
Both were taken to a local hospital for the treatment of gunshot wounds. The police spokesman told the newspaper that he did not know where Bonner lives.

The shooting took place at around 11 a.m. Sunday at the Stadium Villages Apartment Complex near Fifth Third Bank Stadium, about two miles from the KSU campus, according to media reports.
Oyerinde was a graduate of Archer High School in Lawrenceville, say media reports.

WXIA-TV 11Alive reported Monday that Oyerinde was a student at KSU, and that the shooting resulted from a dispute between two sets of neighbors.
The Daily Journal reported Monday that no suspects had been apprehended and the incident is under investigation by Cobb police. Anyone with information is asked to contact them at 770-499-3945.
