Murder-Suicide Occurred In Peachtree Corners Hotel Room: Police
The Gwinnett police say that a murder-suicide occurred last week in a Peachtree Corners hotel room; two people from Florida found dead.
PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — The Gwinett County police on Friday identified two people who were found dead early Thursday inside a room in a Peachtree Corners hotel, and announced that the case has been determined to be a murder-suicide.
The individuals were identified as Lecresha Jalyn Day, 24, from Seffner, Florida, and Delvin Antonio Shorter, 26, from Quincy, Florida. "Both died from a gunshot to the head," the police said.
Delvin Shorter is the suspect in the shooting, the police said, adding that they have notified the family members of the two individuals.

The police found the two bodies after responding to a report at 3:42 a.m. Thursday of "suspicious activity" at the Norcross Inn and Suites at 6650 Bay Circle in Peachtree Corners.
