Norcross Spanish-Speaking Students Help With Census Taking
Norcross students, who are either bilingual or taking upper level Spanish classes, are going to canvas two census tracts with low response.
NORCROSS, Ga - The school system and The Norcross Complete Count Committee is partnering to include more Spanish speakers in the census.
Students, who are either bilingual or taking upper level Spanish classes, are going to canvas two census tracts with the lowest response rate to the last census, those east of Buford Highway.
The committee will be canvassing the neighborhood, handing out census flyers in English/Spanish at each residence with translation help from the high school students.
