Search Goes On For Arsonist Who Destroyed Trailers: Pickup Sought

The search continues for the arsonist who destroyed two tractor trailers in Lawrenceville Nov. 25.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Fire Investigators in Gwinnett County are still trying to determine who is responsible for intentionally setting a fire that destroyed two tractor trailers behind a business in unincorporated Lawrenceville. The incident occurred on Sunday, Nov. 25, at Levantina, located at 2499 Newpoint Place Parkway NW. The tractor portion of both rigs burned to the ground as a result of the arson.

According to fire investigators, an unknown individual made unlawful access to the property with the intent of causing severe damage to the vehicles. Fire investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect involved in the nefarious act and hope that the uniqueness in the appearance of the pickup truck used during the commission of the crime will help.

The pickup truck is described as a red dodge, with a silver hood, silver driver-side front quarter panel, silver gas cap cover, and the driver’s side headlight out. Fire investigators are hopeful that someone will recognize the pickup truck used in the crime and provide helpful information to solve the case.
