Still Lake Nursery to Close July 12
The beloved Lawrenceville nursery and florist will close its doors Saturday after serving the community for more than 40 years.
Still Lake Nursery in Lawrenceville will close its doors Saturday, July 12 after serving the Gwinnett community for more than 40 years, the Gwinnett Daily Post reports.
Built by Garry and Gloria Still on a cow pasture in 1974, Still Lake Nursery has been the community’s “go-to-place for gardeners,” for nearly two generations, according to the business’ website. The nursery doubles as a full-service florist with 12 greenhouses including fertilizer, pesticides, tools, pots, seeds, statues and a wide variety of plants and flowers.
The Stills also opened Gwinnett County’s first 7-Eleven and an Italian restaurant before following their long-lived passion for flowers and opening the nursery, the Gwinnett Daily Post reports.
