• Douglas County residents say postal service abruptly stopped delivering mail (fox5atlanta.com) — Some Lithia Springs-area residents on Huckleberry Lane say their mail delivery stopped without warning after USPS deemed the dirt road too dangerous for new trucks, leaving seniors without medications and important letters. Mail is being held at the Lithia Springs post office and an Atlanta warehouse, while county officials say there’s no money to pave the road yet but are pressing USPS for a solution.
