  1. Two affordable rental housing projects will be constructed in nearby Norcross. The housing projects being developed by Walton Communities and Blue Ridge Atlantic Development are among 28 projects receiving state tax credits. The housing projects will receive a total of $27.98 million from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. A total of $1.15 million in tax credits will go directly to the Norcross projects.   2. A Gwinnett County facility which provides care for adults with dementia may soon have to close its doors. Since 2019, Peachtree Christian Health in nearby Duluth has been an adult day health center. It's one of the few places caregivers can bring adults with dementia to socialize and experience a sense of community. The organization is attempting to reach its goal of $500,000 to keep the facility going or it will be forced to close due to a lack of funds. (WSB Radio)

  4. Loganville City Council will be holding a called meeting on Thursday. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 1, and will take place at the Council Chambers at City Hall. The meeting will also be available to view on YouTube Live. The meeting will discuss the Walton County LOST Resolution. (City of Loganville - Government via Facebook)
  5. On Monday, a two-vehicle crash caused major traffic congestion for commuters in Walton County. At 4:45 p.m., fire officials arrived at the scene of the crash on Highway 78 at Youth-Monroe Road. One eastbound lane was blocked as the wreck was moved from the road. No injuries were reported as of Tuesday evening. (Monroe Local News)
