Apparent Road Rage Incident On Hwy. 78 Leads To Gunfire
An accident on Highway 78 in Loganville Monday escalated into a shootout, with one man hospitalized, according to a city spokesperson.
LOGANVILLE, GA — Two men exchanged gunfire and one was wounded Monday morning in Loganville in what appears to have been a road-rage incident.
The shootings, reported just before noon, took place in the westbound lanes of Highway 78 near Highway 20, said City of Loganville spokesperson Robbie Schwartz. The two men shot at each other following an accident, with one sustaining multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken by ambulance to Northside Gwinnett Hospital, Schwartz said.
No other injuries were reported, and no other suspects are at large. The incident is under investigation.
