Arts & Crafts Festival, Pancake Breakfast and More at Loganville American Legion

Post 233 is hosting a variety of activities this Saturday.

The American Legion Post 233 in Loganville is having a variety of activities this Saturday (Sept. 28).

From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., the 4635 Atlanta Hwy. location is having a pancake breakfast hosted by the 40&8 organization. The all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast will be filled with pancakes, drinks, sausages and fruit for $5, and the cost will benefit the local nurses training program.

Afterward, head to the parking lot where there will be an arts and crafts festival put together by the ladies auxiliary to raise funds for the Loganville post. More than 20 vendors are expected to be at the festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. selling a variety of items including quilted items, birdhouses, crochet, paper flowers and handmade jewelry. There also will be raffles.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Boy Scout Troop 535 will be serving up barbecue to raise funds to support activities through its organization. And from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., a local clinician will be giving out free sight and vision screenings in the building.

Finally, American Legion is ending the night with its usual Saturday dance from 8:30 p.m. to midnight. Get down to country western music in addition to rock and roll and other song requests. Admission is $6 per person and there is an open bar.
