Coronavirus Stay-At-Home Order Issued For Loganville

Loganville Mayor Rey Martinez signed an emergency order similar to Gwinnett's mandating that residents stay home to fight the coronavirus.

LOGANVILLE, GA — The City of Loganville Monday ordered its residents to stay home as much as possible to combat the coronavirus pandemic. The emergency order, similar to one enacted by Gwinnett County, starts at 5 p.m. Monday and ends on April 13.

Loganville’s measure follows a Sunday announcement by Gwinnett County that it may jail or fine anybody in the county who violates its own shelter-in-place order.

The Loganville order specifies that residents stay home except for activities related to health and safety. Essential businesses allowed to remain open include grocery stores, pharmacies and restaurants offering drive-through, takeout or delivery service.
