Deer Wrecks Reported, Suspicious Persons, Disturbing the Peace: Sheriff's Calls

Zone 1
Suspicious Vehicle- In the area of Highway 81 and the Newton County line caller reported seeing a suspicious vehicle. Deputies checked the area, no contact.

Suspicious Vehicle- In the area of Ashland Farm Road and Cannon Farm Road caller reported seeing a suspicious vehicle in the area. Deputies checked the area, no contact.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident involving a deer in the area of Monroe Jersey and Dean Hill Road. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Damage to Property- A residence in the area of Walnut Avenue homeowner reported an unknown person damaged their well.

Zone 4
Disturbing the Peace- A residence in the area of Phillips Drive caller reported hearing loud noises in the area. Deputies checked the area no contact.

Zone 5
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Bold Spring Road in reference to speeding eighteen wheelers in the area.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident involving a deer in the area of Roscoe Davis Road. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Prowler- A residence in the area of White Oak Trace homeowner reported an unknown white male wearing dark clothing and a neon backpack came from the wood line and looked as if they were going to jump their fence. Deputies checked the area, no contact.

Zone 6
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Broadnax Mill Road and Broadnax Drive. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 11 and Whitney Road. No life threatening issues. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Zone 3
Arrest- Antonio Mattox was arrested at a residence off Highway 78 for an outstanding warrant out of Walton County.

Arrest- David Ringblom was arrested in the area of Georgia 10 and West Spring Street off ramp for Driving Under the Influence following a traffic stop.

Zone 5
Firearms- A residence in the area of Lee Peters Road caller reported firearms being discharged in the area. Deputies checked the area and made contact with suspect and they were shooting in a safe manner.

Suspicious Person- A residence in the area of Bullock Bridge Road caller reported hearing a woman screaming. Deputies checked the area, no contact.

Zone 6
Suspicious Person- A residence in the area of Cedar Drive caller reported individuals going door-to-door asking what phone service residents have.

Suspicious Vehicle- A residence in the area of Smith Drive homeowner reported seeing a white sedan parked at the end of the subdivision around 5AM. Vehicle was occupied by a white female with blonde hair until round 7:30AM a Hispanic male got into the vehicle. Complaint reported incident to the Sheriff’s Office after vehicle left the scene. Extra patrol was requested in reference to the incident.

Arrest- Walter Head was arrested for Battery and Haley Beaver was arrested for Simple Battery at a residence off Wagon Trail following a dispute.

Zone 7
Suspicious Person- A residence in the area of Nunnally Farm Road homeowner reported an unknown subject pulled into their gated driveway and shined their headlights in the residence. Extra patrol requested in reference to the incident.
