Loganville residents are vowing to fight a new, 50 acre-solid waste transfer station that is proposed to go into their neighborhoods. Located in eastern Gwinnett County, the location would take trash from local households and store it before relocating it to a landfill.

Man Charged With Rape, Sodomy, Child Molestation, Incest: Police

The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man Tuesday and charged him with rape, sodomy, child molestation, incest and two counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes, according to deputies.

Police have added charges to the docket of a man accused of aggravated assault and identified the victim. The Gwinnett County Police Department said Akin Williams, 21, attacked his Kroger supervisor, 59-year-old Maria Mosher, on Sunday, Nov. 17.

A man has been given a life sentence, with the first 25 years to be served in confinement, for the rape and molestation of a 12-year-old his grandmother was babysitting, according to the Gwinnett DA's Office.
