Gwinnett Fire Department Approved For A New $1.4M Ladder Truck: County

The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners approved a $1.4 million contract using special-purpose local-option sales tax (SPLOST).

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services will get a new ladder truck.

County commissioners approved a $1.4 million contract earlier this month at a board meeting. The contract was awarded to Sutphen Corporation and is funded by the voter-approved 2017 SPLOST program, according to the county.

To support public safety, the board said it approved the purchase of a new heavy duty SP95 aerial ladder truck.
