Grayson Arts and History Center, City Council Meetings: This Week in Loganville, Grayson

Check out what's happening around town Oct. 7-13.

1. Loganville City Council Work Session/City Council Meeting: The Loganville City Council meets this week for its regular monthly meetings. On Monday (Oct. 7), they'll be holding a work session at 7:30 p.m. at Loganville City Hall, and they'll meet again at the same time Thursday (Oct. 10) for their regular city council meeting. Check back with Patch later this week for Thursday's agenda.

2. Loganville Rotary Club: The Loganville Rotary Club will be at IHOP (4176 Logan Dr.) for its weekly Thursday meeting (Oct. 10) at 7:15 a.m. Join them for a buffet-style food while getting to know what's going on in the rotary club. 3. "Real Gurlz" at The Cross Loganville: From 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 12), The Cross Loganville is having a Women's Ministry event called "Real Gurlz." For $20, ladies can participate in a day filled with dynamic speakers, breakout sessions, an interactive discussion time, praise and worship, and lots of giveaways. Lunch will be served. 4. Church Yard Sale: The Grayson United Methodist Church is hosting a yard sale at 9 a.m. this Saturday (Oct. 12). Check out all the vendors, and there will be food, too, at the 555 Grayson Pkwy. location. Click here for more details.

5. Grayson Arts and History Center Open House: The Grayson Arts and History Center, located at 2070 Rosebud Rd., is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday (Oct. 12) for an open house. Locals are invited to stop by to eat goodies made using recipes out of the "From Trip to Grayson" cookbook and check out fall and Christmas merchandise, including sale and bargain items.
