UPDATE: Special Needs-Man Found Safe

A special-needs man from Snellville was found safe Thursday night at Ronald Reagan Parkway and Five Forks Trickum Road and returned home.

UPDATE: At about 8 p.m. Thursday, Gwinnett County Police officers were dispatched to a suspicious-person call at Ronald Reagan Park on Five Forks Trickum Road. Officers met with the man and confirmed that he was Tiaun Bonner. He was found unharmed and eventually transported back home.

SNELLVILLE, GA — The Gwinnett County Police Department needs the public’s help in locating a special-needs man from the Snellville area.

Tiaun Bonner, age 38, was last seen at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday walking towards the Shoppes at Webb Gin at the corner of Scenic Highway and Webb Gin House Road. As of late Thursday afternoon, several patrol officers, a K-9 officer and the police helicopter are helping with the search.

Bonner is a black male, 5 feet 9 inches, 200 pounds, with black hair. He was last seen wearing a tan fleece vest over a grey tank top, black sweatpants with white detail, and blue tennis shoes. He also has an iPod with blue headphones. Bonner has a diminished mental capacity.
