Holiday Schedule For County Offices, Waste Collection Announced

Gwinnett County has announced the holiday schedule for county offices and solid waste collection.

GWINNETT COUNTY — All Gwinnett County government offices, with the exception of those operations required for the comfort and safety of residents, will be closed Dec. 24 and 25 for the Christmas holiday. County offices will resume normal business hours on Dec. 26. A Magistrate Court judge will be available at the Gwinnett County Detention Center during the holiday.

Trash and recycling collection in unincorporated Gwinnett County will be delayed by one day starting Dec. 25 through Dec. 28. The Gwinnett County Solid Waste Management Call Center will be closed Dec. 24, but hauler call centers will be open. Residents can visitwww.gcsolidwaste.com to find their hauler’s contact information. Residents who live within city limits should contact their trash and recycling provider to find out if collection will be delayed due to the holiday.

County offices will be closed Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018, and will reopen during normal business hours Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018.
