King's Hawaiian to Expand, Create 400 Jobs in Georgia
Gov. Deal: Expansion plans "will benefit northeast Georgia for many years to come."

California-based baker and distributor King’s Hawaiian is expanding its operations in Northeast Georgia, and will bring more than 400 new jobs to the area, the Governor’s Office announced Monday, Oct. 21.
California-based baker and distributor King’s Hawaiian is expanding its operations in Northeast Georgia, and will bring more than 400 new jobs to the area, the Governor’s Office announced Monday, Oct. 21.
In a press release, Gov. Nathan Deal said King’s Hawaiian plans to double its current operations in Oakwood “will benefit northeast Georgia for many years to come.”
The company plans a new 120,000 square-foot facility that will triple production. The 400 jobs will be added in phases by 2016.
