Lane Closures Slated On SR 141/Peachtree Industrial Blvd

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA -- Georgia DOT crews will implement overnight lane closures this week on SR 141/ Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in DeKalb and Gwinnett counties.

Weather permitting, crews will close two left lanes on SR 141 northbound and southbound, and one right lane and right shoulder northbound between N. Shallowford Road and Holcomb Bridge Road each remaining night this week. Motorists should expect crews to work from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following mornings through Friday, April 12.

The closures will provide safety for workers and drivers as workers begin milling, inlay and resurfacing activities on SR 141 from N. Shallowford Road, just south of I-285 in DeKalb to the SR 141/ Peachtree Parkway split in Gwinnett. These activities are needed to improve the roadway’s condition.Motorists are advised to expect delays and use signed detours, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
