Lane Closures On SR 141/Peachtree Industrial Blvd

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA -- Georgia DOT crews will implement overnight lane closures this week on SR 141/ Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in DeKalb and Gwinnett counties for resurfacing
activities.

Weather permitting, crews will close the right shoulder and two right lanes on SR 141 southbound from Holcomb Bridge Road to N. Shallowford each week night beginning at 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. the following mornings. The first overnight closure will begin Monday, April 1. These closures will provide safety for workers and drivers as workers begin milling, inlay and resurfacing activities on SR 141 from N. Shallowford Road, just south of I-285 in DeKalb to the SR 141/ Peachtree Parkway split in Gwinnett county. These activities are needed to improve the roadway’s conditions.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and use signed detours, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones. Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions.
