Letter to Grayson Residents from Beverage SuperStore

Dear Fellow Grayson Citizen,

We are very excited to be open for business in Grayson. Our opening marks a banner day for positive economic impact for the citizens of Grayson. Already, due to the action of the city's Mayor and Council, your residential sanitation service is now at no cost to you; this cost is negated because of revenues generated by the location of Beverage SuperStore of Grayson! Other positive changes will follow as Beverage SuperStore becomes an integral part of Grayson's revenue stream.

This letter is to let you know of another important step in continuing the upward trajectory of Grayson's commercial tax base. Due to a quirk in Georgia law, when you overwhelmingly voted in there could be no vote on the Sunday sale of distilled spirits.

Now, before you on November 6th, in a special City of Grayson election, is a ballot question to allow the Sunday sale by package of all alcoholic beverages including beer, wine and distilled spirits. This, of course, would result in cancellation of a privilege now enjoyed by Grayson residents, that of being able to purchase alcoholic beverages on Sunday.

It is important for Grayson's commercial tax base and downtown development that you vote in favor of Sunday sales of package alcoholic beverages. This will assure Grayson's competitive advantage with other cities in Gwinnett and Walton counties.
