Loganville, Grayson, Walton Offices Closed Jan. 29; Gwinnett Services Limited
The closings are due to the inclement weather in the winter storm.

Many closings have been announced for offices around the Loganville and Grayson area due to the winter storm.Β
The city offices for Grayson and LoganvilleΒ will be closed Wednesday (Jan. 29).Β LoganvilleΒ posted the following message on its Facebook page late Tuesday:Β
"City offices will be closed tomorrow. Please stay off the roads as they are dangerous."
Grayson City Hall, which closed 2 p.m. Tuesday, said its offices will be closed ifΒ Gwinnett County Public Schools is closed. GCPS announced its closing around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Walton County government officesΒ also will be closedΒ Wednesday, too.Β
Gwinnett County shared the following information via email regarding Wednesday closings forΒ offices, courts, buses,Β trash, recycling and more:
- Gwinnett County administrative offices will delay opening untilΒ 10:00am.
- Gwinnett trials and hearings are cancelled.
- All Gwinnett County Tax Commissioner's Offices will delay opening untilΒ 10:00am.
- All Gwinnett County Park and Recreation facilities will delay opening untilΒ 10:00am.
- Gwinnett County Transit Express Bus Service will not run. If conditions allow, Local Routes 10 and 40 will start atΒ 10:00amΒ and all other routes atΒ noon. Please check theΒ Gwinnett County TransitΒ website or call GCT Customer Service atΒ 770.822.5010Β for up-to-date schedule information.
- Trash and recycling collection in unincorporated Gwinnett County will not take place. The collection schedule will be delayed one day. If your normal collection day isΒ Wednesday, it will be collectedΒ Thursday. IfΒ ThursdayΒ is your collection day, it will be collectedΒ Friday. Friday's normal collection will take placeΒ on Saturday.Β If your trash and recycling was not collected Tuesday, it will be collectedΒ on Thursday.Β If you have any questions, please contact the Gwinnett County Solid Waste and Recovered Materials Call Center at770.822.7141. Gwinnett residents who live inside city limits should check with their city for the status of their trash service.Β
