Loganville Man Accused Of Killing His Mother
Police say Tresa Slate, 61, died in her home after her son, Christopher Pino, 39, of Loganville, killed her.
LOGANVILLE, GA —A Loganville man is charged with murder after he killed his mother Saturday, the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
Tresa Slate, 61, was found dead in her home around 11:30 a.m. near Frank Boyd Road, the sheriff's office said. Deputies responded after an elderly man reported not being able to wake her up, the sheriff's office said.
The sheriff's office said Slate's death was a homicide.

Christopher Pino, 39, Slate's son, was arrested Sunday and is charged with fugitive from justice and murder-family with other weapon, jail records show.
He is also facing a theft charge in Virginia, the sheriff's office said.

Pino is being held without bond in the Forsyth County Jail, jail records show.
