Man Found Dead In Gwinnett Hotel, Police Call It 'Suspicious'

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Gwinnett County Police are investigating what they call a “suspicious death” after finding one man dead and another in serious condition Sunday in a Norcross motel.

Shortly before noon Sunday, Gwinnett County Police, already at the Motel 6 on Oakbrook Parkway for an unrelated incident, were asked by staff to check on the welfare of two guests.

Once inside the guests’ room, police found one male dead and another one in what a spokesperson described as “serious condition.” The second man was taken to an area hospital.

Police are still investigating the incident. They did not publicly identify the men.
