Man Shot Dead, Woman Wounded During Domestic Incident: Police
When Gwinnett County Police arrived at a home on Wheylon Drive early Monday morning, they found a dead man in front of the residence.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A man was shot dead and a woman was wounded early Monday morning in what Gwinnett police said they believe was a domestic incident.
Gwinnett County Police responded to a call from a home on Wheylon Drive at 3 a.m. Monday after a woman called to report people had been shot.
When police arrived, they found a dead male in front of the residence. Police said they also found a female who had been shot, with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives believe the shooting stemmed from a domestic incident between the two and that they knew each other, according to Gwinnett County Police Department spokesperson Cpl. Collin Flynn. One person was taken into custody.
The identities of the two shooting victims is being withheld by Gwinnett police until next of kin are notified.
