Man Shot In Gwinnett Front Yard Identified, Arrest Made

NORCROSS, GA -- A man found dead with a gunshot wound in the front of a Norcross home, May 24, has been identified and a man has been arrested, according to Gwinnett County Police.

The victim, found at 1436 Silver Lake Drive, has been identified as Israel Martinez-Hernandez, 38, from Pine Mountain, Georgia. The suspect in this case has been identified as Telesforo Renteria, 45, from Atlanta.

Telesforo is in custody and has been charged with felony murder and aggravated assault. He is being held in the Gwinnett County Detention Center.

This is still an active investigation, police said.
