Obituary and Funeral Arrangements: Leila B. Palmer, 99, of Loganville

Funeral Services for Leila B. Palmer, 99, of Loganville, will be a 3 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Corinth Christian Church.

Leila B. Palmer, age 99 of Loganville, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Corinth Christian Church, with the body lying in state at 2:30 PM. Minister Don Hardison, Minister Lester Waters and Minister Adam Turner will officiate. Burial will follow in Corinth Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Palmer was born in Walton County to the late Arch and Robena Brooks. She taught school at the old Youth School and Mt. Vernon School before going to work at Davison’s Department Store in Atlanta, where she retired after 25 years. Mrs. Palmer lived in Conyers for 24 years before moving back to Walton Co. She was the oldest member of Corinth Christian Church and an active member of the Golden Rule Sunday School Class. I

n addition to her parents, Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Palmer, and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by her Daughter & Son-in-law: Kaye & Lewis Terrell, Loganville; Grandsons & Granddaughters-in-law: Andrew & Jillian Terrell, Snellville; Jeff & Barrie Terrell, Charlotte, NC; several nieces & nephews.
