Peanut Allergy Alert Issued on Sesame and Garlic Mixed Soy Bean Paste
These products have been distributed nationwide in retail stores as well as over the Internet.

Daesang America is recalling its 500 gram packages of Sesame and Garlic flavored Mixed Soy Bean Paste because they may contain undeclared peanuts. According to the U.S. Food and drug Administration website, Mixed Soy Bean Paste (Sesame and Garlic) were distributed nationwide in retail stores as well as over the Internet.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the English packaging did not contain information concerning the peanut content on the ingredient list. Production has been suspended until the FDA is certain that the problem has been corrected. People with Peanut allergies could experience serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. Although no life-threatening incidents have been reported, the FDA is reporting a minor reaction to peanut.

Any consumers who have purchased the 500 gram (17.64 ounce) package of Mixed Soy Bean Paste are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
