  1. There's still time for residents from the Loganville-Grayson area to support a local cause – and possibly win some impressive wheels. Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities is holding its 15th annual BMW raffle. Tickets are available through Nov. 30 and will go toward supporting Atlanta-area Ronald McDonald House Charities, which provide the families of children suffering from serious illnesses with the help they need. Contestants can purchase as many tickets as they'd like for the raffle. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  2. The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) Post 699 earned the Third Place Overall Trophy in the 2022 City Challenge! This event was created to show off what GCSO Explorers have learned, and compete with other Explorer Posts in the area. Hosted by Lawrenceville Police Department, the event took place on Saturday and was attended by multiple agencies from the region. (Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office via Facebook)
  3. A woman's club in nearby Lilburn has successfully donated special dictionaries to every third grade student in the area. Started in Lilburn several years ago, The Dictionary Project works to provide children with this invaluable resource throughout Lilburn elementary schools. The Lilburn Woman's Club was supported with donations from Walton EMC and the Believe in Reading organization. (Gwinnett Citizen)
  4. Get into the community and enjoy these upcoming city events in Loganville and Grayson! On Dec. 3, Loganville will be hosting the Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting in Downtown Loganville.   5. Gwinnett County officers have taken down a human trafficking ring, leading to multiple arrests. A long-term investigation by the county into human trafficking led to eight people being arrested for trafficking women in motel rooms and private homes throughout the country. Officers were able to rescue four women who were being trafficked at the time of the arrest. An additional ninth suspect remains at large. (Newsbreak)
