CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Zone 1
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Georgia 138 and Old Highway 138. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Zone 2
Nothing Reported.
Zone 3
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Snows Mill Road and Jacks Creek Road. No injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Pleasant Valley Road. No life threatening injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.
Zone 4
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 78 and Cheek Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Zone 5
Prowler- A residence in the area of Forest Drive homeowner reported hearing noises outside their residence. Deputies checked the area, no contact.
Zone 6
Fraud- A residence in the area of Green Road complainant reported an unknown subject sent her a fraudulent check for an item they were selling on craigslist.
Zone 7
Recovered Vehicle- In the area of Atha Village deputies recovered a vehicle that was stolen out of Barrow County following a traffic stop. Stephanie Dillard was arrested for an outstanding bench warrant and Sarah Johnson was arrested for an outstanding Theft by Receiving Stolen Property warrant both out of Walton County.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Highway 81 and Jersey Walnut Grove Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Arrest in reference to Safety Check:
- Edurado Mejia was arrested for Driving While Unlicensed
Zone 2

Zone 3
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Highway 83 and Clearwater Drive. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Arrests in reference to Safety Check:
- Andrew Garrett was arrested for Driving While License Suspended and an outstanding bench warrant out of Monroe Police Department.
- Spencer Cronin was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Open Container
- Tyler Huff was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Schedule Four Drugs.
Theft- A residence in the area of Vasco Adcock Road complainant reported an unknown person took a gun from their vehicle. Gun was placed on the national database as stolen.
Zone 4
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Highway 11 and Bold Springs Road. No injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Mt. Creek Church Road and Smokerise Drive in reference to multiple vehicles drag racing in the late afternoon early night time hours.
Theft- A residence in the area of Shoal Creek Road homeowner reported an unknown person took items from their residence.
Arrest- Joseph Gillespie was arrested at a residence off West Vine Street for Battery, Cruelty to Children (x2) and Interfering with a 911 Call following a dispute.

Zone 6
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident in the area of Centerhill Church Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Agency Assist- Deputies responded to a business the area of Hillside Road to assist Loganville Police Department in reference to a burglary.
Zone 7
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Youth Jersey Road and Pilot Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Arrest- Blakely Smiley was arrested in the area of Nunnally Farm Road for Driving Under the Influence, Open Container and Too Fast for Conditions following a single vehicle rollover accident with no injuries.
