Police Find Body of Missing Walton Teen

The Walton County Sheriff's Office said foul play is not suspected in the death of Kelsey Clark.

Update: The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reports that the body of missing teen Kelsey Clark has been found. No foul play is suspected.

The sheriff’s office posted the following on Facebook:

β€œIt is with very, very heavy hearts that we must tell you that our expanded search has resulted in the discovery of the body of KELSEY CLARK. Please continue to pray for this family and for all of WCSO. Investigation continues but at this time, no foul play is suspected.”

After initial leads have been exhausted in the search for missing teen Kelsey Clark, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office said it is deepening its efforts.

Kelsey, 14, was last seen Thursday, Nov. 12 around 5:45 a.m.

The agency said on Facebook it had a large team of law enforcement officers, fire and EMS personnel and a Georgia State Patrol helicopter to search the area near and around the teen’s home Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office has committed more than a dozen deputies and investigators on the case.

β€œOur desire to find KELSEY CLARK is very strong,” the sheriff’s office posted on Facebook. β€˜[Deputies] have worked tirelessly sometimes as long as twenty hours in a day. Their work has taken them into several counties. Every lead no matter how small has been pursued.”

The sheriff’s office said more than 300,000 have read about Kelsey on its Facebook page, and leads have come in from 10 states. All leads have come up empty so far.
