Series Of Vehicle Break-Ins At Gwinnett Parks: Police
Gwinnett Police are investigating series of vehicle break-ins at two Gwinnett County parks.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA -- Detectives assigned to the General Crimes Unit are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins at two Gwinnett County Parks. While doing follow-up in these cases, both detectives were able to secure surveillance photos of men who may be responsible for the crimes. In both cases, the men used the victims’ credit cards to make fraudulent purchases.
- The first event occurred at Collins Hill Park, located at 2225 Collins Hill Road, Lawrenceville, April 24 at around 3 p.m. A photo was captured of one man police need to identify, seen using the victim’s credit cards at the Kroger grocery store at 2121 Lawrenceville Suwanee Road in Suwanee. Suspect #1 is wearing a Nike hoodie and black pants. He was seen in a black Lexus with tinted windows.
- The second vehicle break-in occurred at Lenora Park, located at 4515 Lenora Church Road, Snellville, April 29. The men stole a purse and made fraudulent purchases at two Kroger grocery stores in Snellville and Lithonia and a Macy’s in Morrow. Suspect #1 is 20-30 years old, bald, wearing eyeglasses, goatee, with a tattoo on his left arm. He was wearing a black shirt and red pants/shorts. Suspect #2 has little facial hair. He was wearing a black Puma hoodie and a black baseball hat. Both suspects were seen getting into a grey passenger car.
