  1. The 17-year-old boy who was shot and killed at a basketball court in Gwinnett County over the weekend has been identified by police. The victim, who was found dead upon arrival, was Timothy Buchanan of Lawrenceville. No arrests have been made as of Monday evening and the Gwinnett County Police asks anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  2. Developers recently broke ground on a 306-unit luxury apartment project in Gwinnett County. The residential development is being built in Sugar Hill across from State route 20. The project is expected to reach completed by the fourth quarter of 2023. (Subscription: Gwinnettdailypost.com)
  3. Local animal welfare advocates will be in attendance at the Walton County Board of Commissioners meeting this evening at 6:00 p.m. Members of the End the Cycle chapter will address the board during the public portion of the meeting about animal welfare in the county and what can be done to address the matter.
