Three Grayson High School Students, one from Archer, Named National Achievement Scholars
In total, 17 students from Gwinnett County were awarded this honor.

Gwinnett County school officials announced Monday that 17 students are National Achievement Scholars. Included in the honorees were three students from Grayson High School and one from Archer.
The National Achievement Scholarship, a program of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, provides scholarships to outstanding African-American high school students.
These named seniors, each receiving a $2,500 scholarship, are considered as having the strongest record of accomplishments and greatest potential for academic success in college.

Archer High School:
- Itoro Sarah Atakpa, who plans to study neuroscience
Berkmar High School:
- Adila Abdulwahid, who plans to study surgical medicine
- Eden Hailemichael, who plans to study medicine (Scholarship sponsored by the Xerox Foundation.)
- Michelle Ramos, who plans to study writing
Brookwood High School:
- Naana D. Obeng-Marnu, who plans to study architecture
- Ruth Amsel Melka, who plans to study neurology
- Jamani Iasha Smith, who plans to study medicine
Central Gwinnett High School:
- Naomi R. McAllister, who plans to study psychology
Grayson High School:
- Dkeama V. Alexis, who plans to study psychology
- Hollis G. Cuffie, who plans to study radiology
- Danielle T. McKeiver, who plans to study education
Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology:
- Kevin O. Edwards, who plans to study mechanical engineering
- Troy Daniel Morrow, who plans to study bioengineering
Mountain View High School:
- Hannah-Dulya Menelas, who plans to study medicine
- Tionne N. Pete, who plans to study medicine
Parkview High School:
- Laura Marie Anderson, who plans to study veterinary medicine
Shiloh High School:
- Hermoon A. Worku, who plans to study neonatology
