Vehicles Primary Targets in Walton County's Theft and Burglary Report

Stolen vehicles and entering auto complaints featured prominently in Walton County Sheriff's Office theft and burglary complaints for the period June 27 to July 1.

responded to the following theft and burglary complaints between June 27 and July 1.

Zone 1

  • A 2007 Acura TL was taken from a residence on Savannah Lane. Mail from inside the vehicle was was later recovered.
  • Two vehicles were entered on Rivermist Drive and items taken.
  • An extension ladder and a stepladder were taken from a residence on Paddock Road.

  • A Ford F250 was taken from a residence on New Horizon Drive.
  • An unlocked vehicle was entered within this zone and a firearm taken.

Zone 3

  • A residence on Whitney Road was reportedly burglarized.

  • Miscellaneous were taken from a residence on Fairview Drive.

Zone 5

  • Burglary Report. On Highway 11, unknown person(s) entered a residence and took miscellaneous items. 
  • Theft – Tools were stolen from a residence on Raleigh Way. A suspect was  named.

Zone 6 

  • Theft – Unknown persons took a zero turn mower, a Toro, and a riding lawnmower from a shed on Youth Monroe Road
  • Theft – At Loganville Recycling on Hwy 78, a cell phone was stolen. 
  • Several autos were entered in Silver Thorn subdivision. Extra patrol was requested. 

Zone 7

  • The passenger window on a truck was busted out overnight on Lakeshore Drive.
  • Someone entered an auto on Magnolia Drive. Nothing appeared missing.
