Vines Gardens in Loganville Scheduled to Re-open in November

Did you know that Gwinnett County has 46 parks for its citizens to enjoy? Here's a lineup from Gwinnett Parks & Recreation for the month with activities and events and other happenings.

According to the Friends of Vines Facebook Page, Vines Gardens in Loganville is scheduled to re-open on Nov. 15. The park is one of 46 county maintained parks in Gwinnett County. The park has been closed for renovations. Loganville-Grayson Patch will update as soon as the re-opening date is secure.

In the meantime, the following is a list of activities in all of Gwinnett County's parks during the remainder of the month of November.Ā 

November 5, 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. – Monday Movie Matinee

November 5-27 – Gwinnett Plein Air Challenge Tour

Free! Enjoy the art of amateur artists, who have been meeting each month since March in a Plein Air Challenge to paint the scenery at several Gwinnett County Park & Recreation locations. ā€œPlein airā€ literally means ā€œin the open airā€ and refers to the practice of outdoor, on-site painting. Gwinnett County Park & Recreation partnered with Tannery Row Artist Colony in Buford, so that over 100 pieces were submitted and judged by a selected panel. The winning selections are on display at Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center, 75 Langley Dr., Lawrenceville to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Gwinnett County Park & Recreation as a countywide park system.
