• Cherokee County Arrest Files for Monday, December 15 - WEIS (weisradio.com) — A 30-year-old resident of Lyerly was among several people recently booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center on drug-related and other charges, according to Monday’s arrest report. Authorities stress that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty, and note there are currently 97 inmates housed at the facility.
