  1. The Northminister Presbyterian Church in Macon is planning to unveil its new steeple sometime in April. Construction is wrapping up on the church and its recognizable steeple after a severe storm last year destroyed the steeple and collapsed the church's roof. Church elder Mark Brown said of the steeple's return, "Something that has not been here for almost a year, I think we’re gonna appreciate it more. You get used to seeing the steeple, and then it’s not here, so it’s gonna be a big reveal, and we’re excited for it." (41 NBC News)
  2. The 567 Center for Renewal in Macon is hosting its annual art show for Youth Art Month. Students from more than 20 schools in the Bibb County School District have submitted 10 of their best art pieces from each school to be on display starting Mar. 3 and running through the end of the month. Visit the annual art show now every weekday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Macon. (41 NBC News)
  3. Officials are still searching for murder suspect Christian Williams after he failed to appear in court on Monday, and they received surveillance video allegedly showing Williams getting kidnapped on the night before he was meant to go to court. Macon District Attorney Anita Howard said that there seemed to be evidence that Williams' ankle monitor had been tampered with sometime before the apparent kidnapping, and the monitoring company never called to report the tampering.
