• Audio Description Requirements Expand to Nielsen Television Designated Market Areas 111 to 120 on January 1 (jdsupra.com) — Starting January 1, 2026, Macon’s ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC stations must provide significantly more audio-described programming to better serve blind and visually impaired viewers. The FCC is phasing these requirements into all TV markets, and Macon is in the next group affected. Local broadcasters may need technical upgrades, but can seek exemptions if the costs are too burdensome.
