  1. In a show of solidarity and condemnation against hatred, the Macon community, alongside state leaders, came together at Mulberry United Methodist Church to support the Jewish community. The gathering was organized in response to an anti-semitic protest held last week in front of Temple Beth Israel. With around 900 attendees, the Service of Love and Unity sent a powerful message that Macon stands united against hate and intolerance, emphasizing that the community values love, kindness, and the protection of all its residents. 2. Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones has identified the man who was fatally shot on a Macon street on Saturday evening. Cedrick Bernard Davis, 45, was found unresponsive by deputies in the 400 block of Daffodil Street. The investigation into Davis's death is ongoing, with no further details currently available.
