1. Following a verbal altercation that escalated into a violent confrontation, two women were apprehended by the Bibb County Sheriff's Office in a car chase. The incident unfolded on Jul. 5 when the suspects (pictured at the link) pursued another woman in their Dodge Charger, discharging gunshots in her direction. The accused now face multiple charges, including aggravated assault, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. (41 NBC News)
2. Macon resident, Ormand Humphrey, 19, lost his life in a shooting incident in Warner Robins on Tuesday. Authorities responded to a distress call regarding a gunshot victim at the intersection of Stevens Street and Sherry Drive, discovering Humphrey lying face down. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Humphrey was pronounced dead.
