Here are the top three stories in Macon today:
- After responding to an unknown problem call, rescue crews and firefighters found a woman dead inside a burning home in Macon, located at 836 Glenridge Drive. On Monday morning, May 22, 57-year-old Felicia Oliver was pronounced dead by Deputy Coroner Luanne Stone. Fire crews and sheriff’s investigators are looking into the incident. (13WMAZ.com)
- Bibb County deputies are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred around 2:00 a.m. on Monday, May 22, on the 600 block of Williams Street, a residential Macon street. The victim's identity has not been released and investigators have not identified any suspects as of May 22. Call the Bibb Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME with any information about the incident. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- Actor, comedian, and entrepreneur Desi Banks will perform at the Macon Centreplex on Dec. 30!
