Domestic dispute ends in two arrests at Macon's Red Carpet Inn, but call originally concerned a stolen car: BSO (13wmaz.com) — Two people were arrested after a domestic dispute at Macon’s Red Carpet Inn on Riverside Drive, which drew a heavy Bibb County Sheriff’s Office presence during the Wednesday morning commute. Deputies initially responded to a stolen vehicle report, later determining it was a domestic situation, and say the case remains under investigation with suspect names and charges not yet released.
   

2. Macon Judicial Circuit launches Project P.A.U.S.E. with state safety grant (41nbc.com) — Macon’s District Attorney’s Office just secured a $211,000 state grant to launch Project P.A.U.S.E., a new pedestrian safety education program for local children and families. Running through September 2026, the initiative will bring age-appropriate lessons and outreach to high-traffic areas, building on the office’s existing youth-focused R.I.S.E. program and supporting Georgia’s broader push to cut traffic deaths.
   

3. Traffic lights knocked down after crash in East Macon, county officials say (13wmaz.com) — Drivers in East Macon should expect delays at Shurling Drive and Millerfield Road, where a crash knocked down the traffic lights and temporary stop signs are now in place. Macon-Bibb County crews are adding more traffic control while they order and install a new pole, and officials are urging everyone to move slowly and carefully through the intersection.
   

4. JJ's That's Awesome: An Unexpected Friendship That Started With A Lift (kfdi.com) — A simple ride home in Macon turned into a meaningful friendship between Kroger produce worker Keith Tidwell and shopper Debbie Rhoden.
