One man is dead, one left the crash site on foot and five others were injured in a three-car crash early Wednesday morning on Interstate 75.
COBB COUNTY, GA — Cobb County police are investigating a fatal multi-car crash that unfolded just before 5:30 a.m. Wednesday morning on Interstate 75 between Delk Road and South Marietta Parkway, police said in a news release.
Investigators said at 5:21 a.m., the driver of a Chevrolet van was headed northbound in the left lane on I-75 when a tire went flat. As the van slowed and changed lanes to the right, it was rear ended by a Ford F-150, driven by 56-year-old Juan Trejo of Cumming.
Shortly after both cars came to a stop in one of the travel lanes, a Toyota Scion crashed into the back of the Ford.
