5 New Principals Named In Cobb Schools
Five Cobb County School District campuses will return to the classroom Aug. 2 with new principals.
COBB COUNTY, GA — The Cobb County School District Board of Education members recently approved personnel changes, which included the naming of five new principals.
When school starts Aug. 2, Murdock, Birney, Still and Addison elementary schools as well as Hightower Trail Middle School will each have a new principal, the district announced in late April.

- Kendra Brooks, Murdock Elementary School
- Craig Dills, Birney Elementary School
- Monica Howard, Still Elementary School
- Hannah Polk, Hightower Trail Middle School
- Jill Spiva, Addison Elementary School
Brooks' and Spiva's new roles take effect June 1, while the rest take effect July 1.
Kelly McNabb was also appointed the director of Student Assistance Programs, and will begin her new role June 1, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
