Atlanta Hard Cider To Open Taproom, Cidery In Marietta

The family-owned cidery and taproom is celebrating its grand opening with a weekend-long community event Saturday and Sunday.

MARIETTA, GA — Atlanta Hard Cider Co. & Distillery is opening its doors in Marietta this weekend, city officials announced, featuring a cidery, taproom and weekend-long community event Saturday and Sunday.

Formerly city-owned property, Atlanta Hard Cider is opening a 6,000-square-foot cider manufacturing facility and tasting room at 1010 Roswell St. in Marietta. City officials marketed the property as a redevelopment opportunity, and the family-owned cidery took advantage of the deal.

"The city has been improving the Roswell Street Corridor for years with new streetscape beautification projects and building design standards," Marietta city officials said in a news release. "The new Atlanta Hard Cider site represents another success in the renaissance of Roswell Street and will be a tourist and local visitor draw into the heart of our community."
