- Bargain Hunt will be opening a new store in Marietta. The new store will be located at 119 Cobb Parkway North and will officially open to the public on Friday, Nov. 4. There will be a grand opening celebration at 10:00 a.m. with a Mega Bin Sale. During the grand opening celebration, shoppers will only pay $7 for Mega Bin items. (Subscription: MDJonline.com)
- The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory for Cobb County yesterday. The advisory warned that the dense fog would decrease visibility to one-quarter mile or less. The advisory was in effect until 11:00 a.m. Cobb County drivers are reminded to reduce speed and to leave plenty of distance between vehicles during a dense fog advisory. (Cobb County Courier)
- Cobb County is asking for residents' input regarding its Comprehensive Five-Year Strategic Plan. The survey seeks residents' opinions on the county government's performance, services, and future priorities. The surveys will be used to prioritize initiatives during the plan's development.
