- Big Shanty Intermediate School received $10,000 in recognition of its efforts to make a mark on the community. The award was the grand prize in the Delta Community Credit Union's 2022 Give Back Give Away. (MDJOnline.com)
- The Marietta Planning Commission met on Tuesday to consider annexing about 170 acres of Bells Ferry property for the development of 600 homes. Last month, the annexation request was rejected by the Cobb Board of Commissioners. (MDJOnline.com)
- A suspect in a murder that took place three months ago at the District at Vinings apartments is now in police custody. The suspect was in custody in Crisp County for unrelated charges and was transferred to the Cobb County jail. (The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
